Shropshire & Cornwall Road Trip

On my first week back in the UK in June, Joe had planned a secret trip around the countryside. What a lad!

On the first stop we stayed in a small town called Wem in Shropshire. It was proper country with barely a soul in site. During our stay here we visited Whitchurch where you can find the most amazing Antique store. If I had my own permanent home, I definitely would have walked out with a lot more than just 5 records. The variety of household trinkets and furniture was unbelievable.

Following the delights of Shropshire, we continued the journey down to the beautiful seaside town of St. Ives, Cornwall. The days were filled with lots of food & rum, admiring gravity defying stones and cheesy rock nights at a holiday park. We also made a quick detour to Penzance, just so we could be pirates for the day. Arghh!

And before making the journey back to Manchester, we ventured down to Land's End and to the white sandy beaches of Porthcurno.
