Cambridge

And I'm back! It's been quite an end to the year personally, which has meant I've not been able to keep on top of this page as much as I'd have liked to. But more on the year that was 2016 later...

Here we have a collection of photos of the lovely University City of Cambridge. I had the morning off from working on the last day of the Folk Festival so I took a little stroll into the city. I'd heard it was worth the visit due to the Universities and Colleges, all of which happen to be beautiful old buildings. Then there is the punting, an activity that can only be likened to the gondolas used in Venice, however the draft vessel is much shallower.

One thing you are sure not to miss along your travels through Cambridge is the Singing Bin Man. Which is exactly what it says on the tin. It's apparently not a useable bin, and is purely there for the singing man to use to do his busking. The acoustics are actually quite good and certainly a novelty, that people can't help but stop and watch, however slightly confused by the whole thing.

The Sunday food market is fantastic, reasonably priced and has everything. The Asian food van serves a fantastic duck noodle soup. I highly recommend trying it. Oh and the Chilli Jam stand. Yummy!
